I received a call from a design firm that was working on some ads for Best Buy Mobile Phones. They were starting a campaign to get people to start upgrading to newer phones that had better features. They didn’t want to use the old brick style mobile phone as many would not know what it was. So I decided to make a composite phone using the technology designs from different periods. I wanted to keep the flip phone aspect and, of course, the antenna. I then added a rotary dial, speakers and the a mic., to gave it the “retro” look. After photographing several phones and trying several more combinations of phone parts, I came up with one I was happy with. They were surprised that they got something so cool, so fast. ~~Darrell
